Well, we had a wonderful trip to celebrate Dan and Megan's wedding. We all had a great time! Elliott looked so handsome in his little tux and he matched Uncle Dan. Daddy looked pretty darn handsome himself and mommy had fun getting her nails and hair done!
It was kind of a whirlwind weekend but oh so fun. On Friday, I went and got my nails done with Megan and three of the other bridesmaids. Then we went to Olive Garden for lunch. The rehearsal was that evening and then the dinner was at mom and dad Dyrland's. Their basement was recently finished for the big event and it looks great! My mom and dad were also there and helped out with Elliott. Dan and Megan got a surprise at the rehearsal dinner with a few friends impersonating a couple on Saturday Night Live. It was HILARIOUS!
The actual wedding day went smoothly. I enjoyed getting my hair done by the same girl who did my hair for our wedding. Megan looked absolutely beautiful and Daniel so handsome. Our two nieces, Kennedy and Olivia looked so pretty in their flower girl dresses. Elliott got to walk down with them and they did such a good job! For not having a nap all day, Elliott did pretty well.
What a little Mac Daddy Elliott was at the reception! He was hitting on Emi's sister's little girl, Zoe. They would hug each other every two seconds and then chase each other. It was so cute! Elliott also got to hang out with his friend Shelby, daughter of our good friends, BJ and Val.
All in all, it was a wonderful weekend. Now, we have the deck project that we're in the middle of. I am happy to say we haven't had any more snags and Jonathan and dad are doing really well. All that's left on our deck is the railing. Exciting!
