It's been a busy and exciting week at our house! Jonathan had voice lessons a majority of the week but on the two days he didn't, he got our deck and our neighbor's deck (we live in a condo and they are adjoining) completely torn out! Our friend Steve helped him yesterday and they were able to get it all down. What a major project!
On top of that, we got our big tree in the front that had an infection and was dying more each year cut down! Our shade is gone. It also provided a little shade from the street light which now shines even brighter in Elliott's and our room! Oh well! We also had our lilac bush (if you can call it that) removed that was right behind our deck. It didn't get any flowers this year, so I'm glad to get rid of it. Now, we will be "deckless" until the first part of July. My mom and dad are coming right after Dan and Megan's wedding. Elliott will get to spend the week with grandma and daddy and grandpa will be building the deck!
Elliott has been doing so good with potty training! Yesterday when he woke up, his diaper was dry, so he had held it all night! He always tells Susie at daycare when he has to go, not so much at home but he does still go at night and in the morning.
I had my 22 week checkup this week. Everything is doing good and little girl is strong as ever. Because I started having some mild contractions and dilating at 29 weeks, they are going to make me start coming more frequently now. I go in 3 weeks and then again in 2.5. The second one is right before my 10 year class reunion. They are going to do a test that determines (over 90% of the time, it's right) if I will go into labor in the next 2 weeks. As long as that comes back safe, I can go to my reunion. We obviously praying hard for that for many reasons! Your prayers would be appreciated as well.
Well, we have lots to do today including cleaning and ordering our deck supplies! Have a great weekend and God Bless!
