Since "everyones doing it" I decided to give in and do it too! :) We have a photo gallery, but I thought it might be fun to have this to tell stories and such. Right now, I am just about 20 weeks pregnant. Baby D is really starting to become more active, just in the past few days. I felt my first real karate-chop kick the 16th or 17th or May. I was on break at work just minding my own business, reading a book, when she nailed me! Of course, all 9 oz of her didn't amount to much, but it was a cool feeling. Jonathan is very impatient waiting for this little girl to kick him. I think it will be soon. Today, she kicked so hard I jumped off the couch!
Even with all of the things I've been through when I was pregnant with Elliott, I love being pregnant! Even taking injections twice a day to make sure I don't develop another blood clot, I'd do it all again. I love knowing there's someone growing inside me and feeling them kick and move around. The back pain, nausea, early and false labor are all worth it for the end results, a beautiful child!
