Update

Hello everyone-
I was admitted to the hospital on Monday afternoon. After my ultrasound on Monday, they found that cervix is shortening, and it was just below the cut off of getting into the danger zone. In addition she has dropped. As I said earlier though, the Fetal Fibronectin came back negative, which is a good thing. Because of the half good and half bad information, my dr says no work until I go back for another ultrasound on Monday, the 30th. In addition, they gave me steroid injections to help with the babies lung development. She gave me the choice of being admitted for a few days or go home and then come in with any changes. We decided it would be best to be monitored considering the steroids can cause contractions. They also moved me back up to twice a day with the Lovenox.

They are discharging me today. I go back on Monday for another ultrasound. When the dr checked me today, there was no change from yesterday, meaning I have not dilated...so that is good. I did have some contractions yesterday, but nothing that stayed consistently.

It is not looking good that I will go back to work nor do any traveling, of course. My grandpa could could go any day, which means that I wouldn't be able to go back for the funeral. We're praying a lot for comfort and peace for whatever the family decides.

I am asking for your prayers that this little girl stays in me for a good 7-10 weeks more! Her ultrasound indicated she is already 2 lbs 6 oz but that's not big enough for this world yet! This is going to be a transition for our family if I am put on complete bedrest, so I ask you to pray for sanity and strength for Jonathan as school will start soon. Also, understanding in Elliott's little mind for what's going on and that mommy can't pick him up and doing my normal mommy things. And, for my sanity to not get bored out of my mind and understand and know this is best for our baby.
