Sad

Today would have been my grandpa's birthday. He missed it by 6 hours. He went into a coma Tuesday night/Wednesday morning and passed away yesterday at 6:23 pm. I haven't been able to talk to my mom yet, but I know that my grandma, aunt and her were all there for sure. I am sure he went peacefully. I am so grateful that he does not have to suffer anymore and know that he is in a much better place! I imagine what he is doing right now and it makes me so happy to know that he is with all the loved ones that have gone before him and of course, God! He is definitely smiling!!


I am at peace with his passing. We've had some time to prepare for this. It will definitely be hard if my family procedes with the funeral now, though. But, I just want whatever is best for my grandma. Please pray for our family, we have a lot going on right now. My dad also has to have surgery on Monday. They have found an aneurysm on his spleen that needs to be removed. Although they are doing it laproscopically, he has clotting issues, which makes any surgery dangerous. So, this is another prayer request.


I know there is a lot going on in our lives right now, but I feel like this is a big test from God. I have to place all of my trust in Him to get through these times. I am trying!!


Thank you all who have emailed and called and also have already volunteered to help us out with Ellliott and meals. We graciously accept this help and are humbled by the wonderful people God has placed in our lives.
