Roller Coaster week!

I had some mild contractions on Sunday and same with Monday but I knew I had an appt that afternoon, so I stuck it out. When I went in, I was 1 cm dilated and -1 station. She also wanted an ultrasound done, but the girl in the office was gone for the day. So, I had to go to the hospital to get that done. She wanted to make sure my cervix hadn't gotten way shorter. She also prescribed something to relax my uterus, which makes you tired. The ultrasound went ok and my cervix was unchanged, so that was good.

Tuesday I had some more contractions, even while on the medication so they also prescribed the terbutaline which makes you jittery...nice combo! That evening, I did have like 7-8 contractions in an hour, so I called just to make sure they didn't want me to go in to L & D because if you have over 6, they say you're supposed to go in. I asked if I could try the meds combo first and she said yes. That really did help but it made me feel weird!

Wednesday, I thought I was leaking. That was freaky. I went in and they did 3 tests. One of the three came back positive. But, according to the ultrasound, my amniotic fluid levels were good, so that was a relief. They did some blood work too. She was thinking about sending me up to L & D for observation but since the u/s came back normal, she said we'd wait and see what the blood tests showed. They came back with borderline high white blood cell counts (possible infection) and another test that measures inflammation was also borderline high. So, repeat blood tests Thursday. They came back with WBC count having dropped a little and the other one stable, which means no infection. However they said, that does or does not mean I haven't ruptured. I have my regular appt on Tuesday and have to have blood work again on Thursday. So, they are definitely keeping an eye on me. I have actually felt pretty decent since then. I will be 31 weeks on Monday.

Check out the cool 3D pic of baby girl below. We finally got one...too bad Jonathan wasn't able to be there. It was so cool to see that! I got to see 4D, which is live, of her face. That was awesome! According to the U/S, she is 3 lbs 10 oz, so she is gaining good! That makes me happy.

I've also added a few pics of the weekend Dan and Megan were here. We had a great time! This weekend, Jonathan's parents are here. We're getting the dining room and Elliott's new room painted. As soon as we have it done, we will add pics. Guess what we're doing his room in?? Yep, Cars (The movie) and NASCAR!!! Exciting! Well, I think that's it for now!

Please keep praying this little girl "stays in her hutch" as a friend put it! I love that description, it's cute!

Take care and God Bless!
