A little over halfway

We have officially hit the halfway mark of my bedrest! How exciting! When I had my appt my Tuesday, I had dilated to 1 1/2 cm but everything else remains the same. I had some stomach issues on Tuesday and Wednesday (I wasn't throwing up, I will leave it up to you to figure it out). The events of this were starting to go just like when I first was put in the hospital at 27 weeks. I started feeling a lot of pressure yesterday afternoon, so I called my OB. It was too late in the afternoon to go there, so I had to make a trip to Labor & Delivery. I contracted a few times when I got there, but after about a half hour, I started contracting pretty hard core. They were intense. Jonathan left for a little bit and when he came back and looked at the graph, he couldn't believe it! They gave me a shot a terbutaline to stop them, and it definitely did that...almost right away. I have to take this every six hours now. Not really too excited about it because it makes you jittery and your heart race.

After all of this, Jonathan and I believe that she will stay put until 37 weeks still. I'm just praying for at least 35 weeks.

On a different note, one of Jonathan's students who just graduated this past spring has been diagnosed with Thyroid Cancer. Please pray for Ashley, as this is so young to have to go through this.

Also, my dad is still not completely himself. He is still fighting a fever off and on and it's been a month! We are just praying they can give him some answers and it will go away so he can return to normal activities!

I hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend. Jonathan's parents are coming. Him and his dad are putting up the dividing wall on our deck (and then WE'LL BE DONE!!) and we're officially moving Elliott to his new room and getting baby girl's clothes washed and put in drawers. Exciting!!

That's it for now. Take care and God Bless.
