Christmas travels

Well, it is now what seems like an eternity past Christmas, but I wanted to share with you about our Christmas season. Jonathan got two whole weeks off for Christmas which I don't think has happened before, so we took advantage of all 17 days together!
Alana playing with her new kitchen. She loves it!
Elliott posing with his presents.

We spent the first weekend at home so we could have our own family Christmas. Elliott also had his Christmas program. Here is a link to the you tube video our friend took. Elliott is holding hands with his good friend, Kane. The first one is Away in a Manger and the second is the First Noel. Too cute!

After spending Monday at home and being a little leary of possible driving conditions the next day, we took of for the first part of our tri-state triangle to spend 4 days with my family. We had a good time. Got to see my grandmas and also celebrated Christmas with my mom's side of the family. Jonathan, Elliott and my dad also went sledding and Elliott got to ride a 4 wheeler. Lots of fun!

The kids in their Christmas outfits...the best we could get out of them.

The following Sunday, we headed to our second destination to see Jonathan's family. We had a great time hanging out with family every day and playing Wii and board games. We got to spend New Year's Eve with our good friends BJ, Val, Heather and Mike. Of course, we spent good QT with Dan and Megan and Emi and Keith. We are very excited to become aunt and uncle again this summer when Dan and Megan are expecting their first baby-a GIRL!!-in June. Poor Elliott, severely outnumbered!
Opening presents for the 4th time!

We really had a great time with our family and friends. We were grateful for good weather, travels and company!

Hope you all had a Merry Christmas and your new year is going great!

Take care and God Bless!
