Jonathan's 30! He turned the big 3-0 on Thanksgiving so got the typical (although yummy) turkey day meal. We celebrated on Thursday and he opened his gifts, so he was completely surprised when I threw him a surprise party the next night at his sister's house in CR! i was so glad he didn't have any idea! Megan, Emi and I had fun preparing , decorating and cooking. I'm so glad they were able to help me because I couldn't have done it without them...thanks ladies! We had a terrible trip to CR Wednesday night. The weather was not good and it ended up taking us 8 hours, normally a 4 1/2-5 hour trip. We were literally at a stand still on the interstate several times. There were numerous cars in the ditch and no towing available. We took a detour off the interstate outside of Des Moines because of a fatality accident that close a stretch of the interstate. Thank the Lord that the kids did wonderful. It was a very long trip but we finally made it in piece at about 10:30 that night. YUCK! I don't want to do that again. That's about it for now. I will try not to let it go this long between postings again. Take care and God Bless.
I live in the Midwest with my wonderful husband, Jonathan, of 8 years, our 5 1/2 year old son, Elliott and our almost 3 year old daughter Alana. We also have a dog named Earnie. We are a family who enjoys hanging out together; whether it be at home, at school, with friends or traveling to see family. We hope you enjoy knowing us more soon!
